أجل الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم موعد سحب قرعة نهائيات كأس آسيا 2027 والذي كان من المقرر إقامته يوم 11 أبريل القادم في الرياض.
وقال الاتحاد في بيان إن المسؤولين قد أعادوا جدولة الحدث إلى موعد لاحق لضمان حضور جميع المعنيين مراسم القرعة النهائية دون انقطاع.
وقد تم تأجيل أو إلغاء العديد من الفعاليات الرياضية في المنطقة بسبب الصراع المستمر، الذي بدأ عندما شنت الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل هجمات على إيران قبل نحو شهر.
ومن المقرر أن تستضيف السعودية البطولة القارية التي تقام كل أربع سنوات بمشاركة 24 منتخبًا وذلك للمرة الأولى مع إقامة الجولة الأخيرة من التصفيات يوم الثلاثاء.
وتحمل قطر لقب البطولة وقد ضمنت بالفعل تأهلها إلى النهائيات إلى جانب اليابان (الفائزة باللقب أربع مرات)، إضافة إلى منتخبات تأهلت لكأس العالم مثل كوريا الجنوبية وإيران والأردن وأستراليا وأوزبكستان.
The Asian Football Confederation has postponed the draw for the final tournament of the AFC Asian Cup 2027, which was scheduled to take place on April 11 in Riyadh.
The federation stated in a statement that officials have rescheduled the event to a later date to ensure the attendance of all relevant parties at the final draw ceremony without interruption.
Many sporting events in the region have been postponed or canceled due to the ongoing conflict, which began when the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran about a month ago.
Saudi Arabia is set to host the continental championship, held every four years with the participation of 24 teams, for the first time, with the final round of qualifiers taking place on Tuesday.
Qatar holds the title of the championship and has already secured its qualification for the finals along with Japan (the four-time champion), in addition to teams that qualified for the World Cup such as South Korea, Iran, Jordan, Australia, and Uzbekistan.
