أجمع خبراء التحكيم على صحة قرارات حكم ديربي الأهلي والاتحاد المونتنيغري «نيكولا دابانوفيتش» مؤكدين في الوقت نفسه أن الحكم قاد المباراة لبر الأمان دون أخطاء تحكيمية.
واتفق الخبير التحكيمي محمد فودة على عدم وجود ركلتي جزاء لفريق الاتحاد في الدقيقتين الثالثة والحادية والعشرين، لافتاً إلى أن ركلة الحزاء المحتسبة لنادي الاتحاد في الشوط الأول من عمر المباراة كان قراراً صحيحاً من الحكم المونتنيغري دابانوفيتش.
وأضاف فودة في تحليله للحالات التحكيمية بعدم وجود ركلتي حزاء في الدقيقة الخامسة والعشرين والدقيقة الثالثة والخمسين مضيفاً بأن الهدف الأهلاوي الثالث كان صحيحاً ولايستوجب الاحتكاك بين مهاجم الأهلي وحارس الاتحاد تدخل الحكم باحتساب خطأ للأخير، وهي الحالات التي اتفق معه فيها الحكم الدولي السابق سمير عثمان، فيما طالب المستشار التحكيمي لبرنامج دورينا عبدالله القحطاني، بتطبيق لائح احتفال اللاعبين على لاعب الأهلي «توني» بعد احتفاله غير الرياضي في اللقاء.

Refereeing expert Mohamed Foda agreed that there were no penalty kicks for the Ittihad team in the third and twenty-first minutes, noting that the penalty awarded to Ittihad in the first half of the match was a correct decision by the Montenegrin referee Dabanović.
Foda added in his analysis of the officiating cases that there were no penalty kicks in the twenty-fifth minute and the fifty-third minute, adding that the third goal for Al-Ahli was valid and did not require the referee to intervene by calling a foul against the Ittihad goalkeeper due to the contact with the Al-Ahli striker. These were points that former international referee Samir Othman agreed with him on, while the refereeing consultant for the “Dourina” program, Abdullah Al-Qahtani, called for the application of the players’ celebration regulations against Al-Ahli player “Toni” after his unsportsmanlike celebration in the match.
