ارتفعت أسعار النحاس خلال تعاملات اليوم، بعدما هبطت أمس، بنسبة بلغت نحو 2%، إذ ضغطت مخزونات المعدن الأحمر المرتفعة وقوة الدولار على الأسعار.
وصعدت أسعار العقود الآجلة الأكثر نشاطًا للنحاس في بورصة لندن للمعادن بنسبة 1.05% إلى 12,752.5 دولار للطن، بعدما تراجعت أمس بنسبة 1.8%.
وذلك وسط تداولات آسيوية ضعيفة على إثر إغلاق بورصة شنغهاي للعقود الآجلة بمناسبة عطلة رأس السنة القمرية حتى الثالث والعشرين من فبراير الجاري.
أعلى مستوى
وزادت مخزونات النحاس في المستودعات المعتمدة لدى بورصة لندن للمعادن بمقدار 9775 طنًا إلى 221.63 ألف طن حتى أمس، وهو أعلى مستوى لها في 11 شهرًا.
ورفع محللو «جولدمان ساكس» توقعاتهم لمتوسط أسعار النحاس بنسبة 19% إلى 11200 دولار للطن في الربع الرابع من العام الحالي، بسبب خطط الولايات المتحدة لإنشاء مخزون استراتيجي من المعادن الحيوية، ما سيزيد الطلب على النحاس.
Copper prices rose during today’s trading, after falling yesterday by about 2%, as high inventories of the red metal and a strong dollar pressured prices.
The most actively traded copper futures on the London Metal Exchange increased by 1.05% to $12,752.5 per ton, after declining by 1.8% yesterday.
This occurred amid weak Asian trading following the closure of the Shanghai Futures Exchange for the Lunar New Year holiday until February 23rd.

Copper inventories in the warehouses approved by the London Metal Exchange increased by 9,775 tons to 221.63 thousand tons as of yesterday, the highest level in 11 months.
Analysts at Goldman Sachs raised their forecasts for average copper prices by 19% to $11,200 per ton in the fourth quarter of this year, due to the United States’ plans to create a strategic stockpile of critical minerals, which will increase demand for copper.
