تُوِّج الجواد «بانيشينج»، المملوك للسعودي شرف محمد الحريري، بلقب الشوط الثاني «جودلفين للميل» ضمن منافسات كأس دبي العالمية 2026، في إنجاز جديد يُضاف لسجل الفروسية السعودية، خلال الأمسية العالمية التي احتضنها مضمار ميدان في دبي (السبت).
فخر وامتنان للقيادة
وعبّر المالك شرف الحريري عن اعتزازه بهذا الإنجاز، قائلاً: «الحمد لله على هذا الانتصار الكبير في أمسية كأس دبي العالمية. أرفع أسمى آيات الشكر والعرفان لخادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي العهد، على دعمهما اللامحدود لرياضة الفروسية».
وأضاف: «أتقدم بخالص الشكر لوزير الرياضة، ورئيس هيئة الفروسية على دعمهما واهتمامهما المستمر، وأهدي هذا الفوز الغالي إلى الشعب السعودي العظيم».
أداء حاسم في سباق الميل
وجاء الفوز بقيادة الفارس سلفستر دي سوسا، وتحت إشراف المدرب ديفيد جاكسون، في السباق المخصص للخيول المهجنة الأصيلة لمسافة 1600 متر رملي «فئة 2»، بعد أداء قوي وحاسم أنهى به «بانيشينج» المنافسة لصالحه، مؤكداً حضوره في واحدة من أبرز محطات الأمسية، التي بلغت جائزتها مليون دولار.
أمسية عالمية وجوائز ضخمة
وتُعد كأس دبي العالمية واحدة من أغنى وأهم سباقات الخيل عالمياً، إذ تصل القيمة الإجمالية لجوائزها إلى 30.5 مليون دولار، موزعة على تسعة أشواط، بمشاركة خيول تمثل أكثر من 12 دولة، يتصدرها السباق الرئيسي بجوائز تبلغ 12 مليون دولار.
سجل ذهبي
يذكر أن شرف الحريري يحمل سجلاً حافلاً بالانتصارات، إذ سبق أن توّجَه ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بلقب كأس السعودية 2024، بعد فوز جواده «سينور بسكادور» بلقب الشوط الكبير والرئيسي لمنافسات كأس السعودية أغلى سباق للخيل في العالم، الذي احتضنه مضمار الملك عبدالعزيز للفروسية بالجنادرية،، وسط منافسة قوية بوجود أشهر الجياد والفرسان في السباق، بمشاركة أمريكية ويابانية كبيرة.
The horse “Banishing,” owned by Saudi Sharaf Mohammed Al-Hariri, was crowned the winner of the second race “Godolphin Mile” as part of the Dubai World Cup 2026, marking a new achievement added to the record of Saudi equestrianism, during the global evening held at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai (Saturday).
Pride and Gratitude for the Leadership
The owner Sharaf Al-Hariri expressed his pride in this achievement, saying: “Thank God for this great victory in the Dubai World Cup evening. I extend my highest thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for their unlimited support for equestrian sports.”
He added: “I sincerely thank the Minister of Sports and the Chairman of the Equestrian Authority for their continuous support and interest, and I dedicate this precious victory to the great Saudi people.” 
Decisive Performance in the Mile Race
The victory came under the guidance of jockey Silvestre De Sousa and the supervision of trainer David Jackson, in the race designated for thoroughbred horses over a distance of 1600 meters on sand “Class 2,” after a strong and decisive performance that led “Banishing” to finish the competition in his favor, confirming his presence in one of the highlights of the evening, which had a prize of one million dollars.
A Global Evening and Huge Prizes
The Dubai World Cup is considered one of the richest and most important horse races globally, with a total prize value of 30.5 million dollars, distributed over nine races, featuring horses representing more than 12 countries, topped by the main race with prizes amounting to 12 million dollars.
A Golden Record
It is worth mentioning that Sharaf Al-Hariri has an impressive record of victories, as he was previously awarded the title of the Saudi Cup 2024 by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, after his horse “Senor Biscador” won the title of the major and main race of the Saudi Cup, the most expensive horse race in the world, held at the King Abdulaziz Equestrian Center in Janadriyah, amidst strong competition featuring the most famous horses and jockeys in the race, with significant American and Japanese participation.
