كشف مدرب ليفربول آرني سلوت سبب طلب نجم الفريق محمد صلاح استبداله خلال مواجهة غلطة سراي، أمس الأربعاء، في إياب ثمن نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا.
وأهدر النجم المصري ركلة جزاء قبل نهاية الشوط الأول، لكنه عوض ذلك بتسجيل هدف رائع في الدقيقة 62، واُستبدل قبل ربع ساعة من نهاية الوقت الأصلي ودخل كودي غاكبو بدلاً منه.
سبب استبدال صلاح
وقال سلوت في تصريحات نقلها موقع ناديه رداً على سبب طلب صلاح استبداله: «لا أعتقد أن صلاح طلب الاستبدال لأنه سجل ما يكفي من الأهداف، بل لأنه شعر بشيء ما (إصابة)، لذا دعونا نرى كيف سيكون وضعه في نهاية الأسبوع وما بعده».
إشادة بالهدف الرائع
وعن هدف صلاح الرائع في مرمى غلطة سراي، أضاف: «يدل هذا على الكثير من قدراته، فبعد إضاعته ركلة جزاء قبل نهاية الشوط الأول مباشرة، سجّل هذا الهدف، قد يكون الأمر صعباً أحياناً على اللاعب أو الفريق، لذا نهنئ الفريق على أدائه في الشوط الثاني، فقد واجهنا العديد من النكسات هذا الموسم، حيث أهدرنا فرصاً كثيرة في الشوطين الأول والثاني دون أن نستغلها بالشكل الأمثل».
وختم سلوت حديثه قائلاً: «صلاح أظهر روحاً قتالية في الشوط الثاني، حيث قدم تمريرة حاسمة رائعة لهوغو، ثم سجل هدفاً مميزاً، كما فعل في العديد من مباريات هذا الملعب ومع هذا النادي، حيث توغل داخل منطقة الجزاء وسدد الكرة في الزاوية العليا للمرمى. هذا يدل على قوته الذهنية، وبالتأكيد على قوة الفريق أيضاً، لأن الصعوبات التي واجهناها هذا الموسم أمر لا بد من مناقشته».
أزمة سابقة بسبب عدم المشاركة
وكان صلاح قد دخل في أزمة مع آرني سلوت في ديسمبر الماضي بسبب جلوسه على مقاعد البدلاء، إلا أن النجم المصري استعاد مكانه في التشكيلة الأساسية في المباريات الأخيرة.
Liverpool coach Arne Slot revealed the reason behind the team’s star Mohamed Salah requesting to be substituted during the match against Galatasaray yesterday, Wednesday, in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
The Egyptian star missed a penalty kick just before the end of the first half, but made up for it by scoring a brilliant goal in the 62nd minute, and was substituted about fifteen minutes before the end of regular time, with Cody Gakpo coming on for him.
Reason for Salah’s substitution
Slot stated in comments reported by his club’s website regarding Salah’s request to be substituted: “I don’t think Salah asked to be substituted because he scored enough goals, but because he felt something (an injury), so let’s see how he will be by the end of the week and beyond.”
Praise for the brilliant goal
Regarding Salah’s brilliant goal against Galatasaray, he added: “This shows a lot of his abilities; after missing a penalty just before the end of the first half, he scored this goal. It can sometimes be difficult for a player or a team, so we congratulate the team on their performance in the second half, as we faced many setbacks this season, having missed many opportunities in both halves without exploiting them optimally.”
Slot concluded his remarks by saying: “Salah showed fighting spirit in the second half, as he provided a wonderful assist to Hugo, then scored a special goal, just as he has done in many matches in this stadium and with this club, where he penetrated the penalty area and shot the ball into the top corner of the net. This indicates his mental strength, and certainly the strength of the team as well, because the difficulties we faced this season are something that needs to be discussed.”
Previous crisis due to lack of participation
Salah had previously faced a crisis with Arne Slot last December due to sitting on the bench, but the Egyptian star has regained his place in the starting lineup in recent matches.
