حقق الخلود فوزاً قاتلاً على مضيفه الخليج بثلاثة أهداف لهدفين، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على ملعب الأمير محمد بن فهد بالدمام، ضمن اللقاءات المؤجلة من الجولة العاشرة من دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
شهد اللقاء بداية قوية للخليج، ومن ركلة زاوية وصلت الكرة لباولو فيرنانديز الذي تلاعب بالدفاع ومن ثم سددها قوية في المرمى هدفاً أول للخليج (د:2)، وعاد الخلود للقاء عن طريق راميرو إنريكي بعد فاصل مهاري رائع، ومن ثم تسديدة أجمل لتسكن شباك الخليج هدف تعادل للخلود (د:31)، وعاد إنريكي للتألق مجدداً محرزاً الهدف الشخصي الثاني له ولفريقه (د:76)، وقبل نهاية اللقاء تمكن لاعب الخليج صالح العمري من إدراك التعادل لفريقه (د:87)، لكن الخلود انتفض في الوقت بدل الضائع وتمكن لاعبه إدغاراس أوتكوس من إحراز هدف ثالث وقاتل للخلود (د:90+12)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز الخلود بثلاثة أهداف لهدفين.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق الخلود فوزه السابع ويصل للنقطة الـ22 في المركز الـ14، فيما تلقى الخليج الخسارة العاشرة وتجمد رصيده عند 27 نقطة في المركز التاسع.
Al-Khulood achieved a dramatic victory over its host, Al-Khaleej, with a score of three goals to two, in the match held at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, as part of the postponed matches from the tenth round of the Roshan Saudi Professional League.
The match witnessed a strong start from Al-Khaleej, and from a corner kick, the ball reached Paulo Fernandes, who skillfully maneuvered past the defense and then struck it powerfully into the net, scoring the first goal for Al-Khaleej (2nd minute). Al-Khulood responded through Ramiro Enrique after a brilliant display of skill, followed by an even more beautiful shot that found the back of Al-Khaleej’s net, equalizing for Al-Khulood (31st minute). Enrique shone again, scoring his second personal goal and for his team (76th minute). Just before the end of the match, Al-Khaleej’s player Saleh Al-Omari managed to equalize for his team (87th minute), but Al-Khulood rallied in stoppage time, and their player Edgaras Otkus scored a third and decisive goal for Al-Khulood (90+12 minute), ending the match with Al-Khulood winning three goals to two.
With this result, Al-Khulood achieves its seventh victory, reaching 22 points in 14th place, while Al-Khaleej suffers its tenth loss, remaining at 27 points in 9th place.
