كلّف الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم طاقم تحكيم سعودياً بقيادة حكم الساحة فيصل البلوي لإدارة المباراة النهائية على كأس آسيا تحت 23 عامًا، والتي ستجمع منتخبي الصين واليابان مساء السبت (القادم) على ملعب مدينة الأمير عبدالله الفيصل الرياضية بجدة.
وستقود صافرة البلوي نهائي كأس آسيا تحت 23 عامًا «السعودية 2026» يساعده كل من فيصل القحطاني وإبراهيم الدخيل «مساعدان» وعبدالله الشهري «حكم فيديو».
ويأتي اختيار طاقم تحكيم سعودي لإدارة المباراة النهائية على كأس آسيا تحت 23 عامًا تأكيدًا على المكانة التي يتبوأها التحكيم السعودي قاريًا ودوليًا، كما يعكس ثقة الاتحاد الآسيوي في قدرات الحكم السعودي بعد تقديم مستويات مميزة في العديد من البطولات المقامة تحت مظلة الاتحاد القاري.
من جانبه أعرب رئيس الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم ياسر بن حسن المسحل عن تمنياته لطاقم التحكيم بالتوفيق في إدارة المباراة النهائية على اللقب القاري، وتقديم صورة مشرفة للتحكيم السعودي، مشيدًا بجهود لجنة الحكام في الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم خلال السنوات الماضية والتي ساههت في تعزيز حضور الحكم السعودي على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية.
ويعد فيصل البلوي أول حكم سعودي يقود نهائي آسيوي على مستوى المنتخبات.
ويبلغ البلوي من العمر 37 عامًا ويعد من أبرز الحكام السعوديين الدوليين، بدأ مسيرته انطلاقًا من برنامج «حكام المستقبل»، حيث تلقى دعم الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم بالانضمام إلى أكاديمية الحكام بالاتحاد الآسيوي والتي تخرج فيها «دفعة 2017» واجتاز بنجاح اختبارات اللياقة البدنية والدورات المكثفة لبرنامج حكام المستقبل.
حصل الحكم فيصل البلوي على الشارة الدولية من الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم «فيفا» في عام 2019، وانضم رسميًا إلى حكام النخبة في آسيا عام 2022، ليقود مباريات في البطولات المقامة تحت مظلة الاتحاد القاري، قبل أن يتم اختياره من قبل «فيفا» لإدارة مباريات في كأس العالم تحت 17 عامًا «قطر 2025».
كما يعتبر حكم الفيديو عبدالله الشهري الحاصل على الشارة الدولية 2024 من حكام النخبة في قارة آسيا، ومن الحكام الذين انضموا لأكاديمية حكام الاتحاد الآسيوي 2024 ومن المرشحين لقائمة حكام تقنية الفيديو في كأس العالم 2026 وسبق أن شارك في إدارة نهائي كأس العرب FIFA في قطر 2025.
The Asian Football Confederation has appointed a Saudi refereeing crew led by field referee Faisal Al-Balawi to officiate the final match of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup, which will bring together the teams of China and Japan on the evening of Saturday (upcoming) at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
Al-Balawi’s whistle will lead the final of the U-23 Asian Cup “Saudi Arabia 2026,” assisted by Faisal Al-Qahtani and Ibrahim Al-Dakhil as “assistants” and Abdullah Al-Shahrani as “Video Assistant Referee.”
The selection of a Saudi refereeing crew to manage the final match of the U-23 Asian Cup confirms the status of Saudi refereeing regionally and internationally, reflecting the Asian Confederation’s confidence in the capabilities of Saudi referees after they have shown remarkable performances in many tournaments held under the umbrella of the continental federation.
For his part, the President of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser bin Hassan Al-Mashel, expressed his wishes for the refereeing crew to succeed in managing the final match for the continental title and to present an honorable image of Saudi refereeing, praising the efforts of the Referees Committee in the Saudi Football Federation over the past years, which have contributed to enhancing the presence of Saudi referees on both regional and international stages.
Faisal Al-Balawi is the first Saudi referee to lead an Asian final at the national team level.
Al-Balawi is 37 years old and is considered one of the most prominent international Saudi referees. He began his career through the “Future Referees” program, where he received support from the Saudi Football Federation to join the referees’ academy of the Asian Federation, graduating in the “Class of 2017” and successfully passing fitness tests and intensive courses for the Future Referees program.
Referee Faisal Al-Balawi received the international badge from FIFA in 2019 and officially joined the elite referees in Asia in 2022, officiating matches in tournaments held under the umbrella of the continental federation, before being selected by FIFA to officiate matches in the U-17 World Cup “Qatar 2025.”
Video Assistant Referee Abdullah Al-Shahrani, who received the international badge in 2024, is among the elite referees in Asia and is one of the referees who joined the Asian Referees Academy in 2024. He is also a candidate for the list of Video Assistant Referees for the 2026 World Cup and has previously participated in officiating the final of the FIFA Arab Cup in Qatar 2025.
