قرار تأديبي
ووثق مقطع فيديو، حصد نحو 4 ملايين مشاهدة، لحظة دفع كوزاني حامل الكرات في الدقائق الأخيرة من عمر اللقاء، الذي كان فيه الخلود متأخراً بالنتيجة، ليشهر الحكم البطاقة الصفراء في وجه الحارس، في لقطة وصفها الكثيرون بـ«غير احترافية» من اللاعب الأرجنتيني، وطالبوا باتخاذ قرار تأديبي بحقه.
سامحت كوزاني
وروى حامل الكرات صالح العناز، في مقابلة صحفية ما حدث معه، قائلاً: «أشوف إن تصرفه (كوزاني) ليس صحيحاً إنه يمد يده، لأن ما كان قصدي أتأخر»، مشيراً إلى أنه سامح الحارس على تصرفه.
إجراء داخلي
وفي السياق، علق رئيس نادي الخلود بن هاربورغ على الواقعة عبر حسابه على منصة إكس، قائلاً: «نتوقع من لاعبينا أن يتصرفوا دائماً بأعلى درجات الاحترافية، ونرى أن هذا المعيار لم يتحقق في هذه الواقعة، لذلك سيتم التعامل مع الأمر داخلياً واتخاذ الإجراءات المناسبة». وأضاف: «كما سنوجه دعوة إلى حامل الكرات لزيارة النادي برفقة عائلته، ليطلع بنفسه على مدى الاحترام والتقدير الذي نكنه للآخرين، فقيمنا راسخة في الاحترام والروح الرياضية».
الاعتذار علناً
وخرج بعدها حارس المرمى الأرجنتيني، في فيديو نشره نادي الخلود على «إكس»، يعتذر فيه عن تصرفه، قائلاً: «أود أن أعتذر لأن تصرفي لم يكن صحيحاً وما قمت به لم يكن مناسباً، كانت لحظة مليئة بالأحاسيس وكنت غاضباً من نتيجة المباراة، في الحقيقة رد الفعل كان خاطئاً ولست فخوراً به، وأردت الاعتذار علناً للفتى».

A video clip, which garnered around 4 million views, captured the moment Cozzani pushed the ball boy in the final minutes of the match, where Al-Khulood was trailing in score. The referee showed a yellow card to the goalkeeper in a scene that many described as “unprofessional” from the Argentine player, calling for a disciplinary decision against him.
Cozzani Forgiven
The ball boy, Saleh Al-Anaz, recounted in a press interview what happened to him, saying: “I see that his (Cozzani’s) behavior is not right for him to extend his hand, because I did not intend to delay,” noting that he forgave the goalkeeper for his actions.
Internal Procedure
In this context, the president of Al-Khulood Club, Ben Harburgh, commented on the incident via his account on X, stating: “We expect our players to always act with the highest levels of professionalism, and we see that this standard was not met in this incident, so the matter will be handled internally and appropriate measures will be taken.” He added: “We will also invite the ball boy to visit the club with his family, to see for himself the respect and appreciation we hold for others, as our values are rooted in respect and sportsmanship.”
Public Apology
Subsequently, the Argentine goalkeeper appeared in a video posted by Al-Khulood on “X,” apologizing for his behavior, saying: “I would like to apologize because my behavior was not right and what I did was inappropriate. It was a moment filled with emotions and I was angry about the result of the match. In fact, the reaction was wrong and I am not proud of it, and I wanted to publicly apologize to the boy.”
