بعد عشرة أيام من الأحداث المؤسفة التي شهدها نهائي كأس أمم إفريقيا 2025 بالمغرب بين المنتخبين المغربي والسنغالي، أصدر الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم «CAF» عدداً من العقوبات الانضباطية الصارمة بحق المتسببين في تلك الفوضى، إذ أكد المجلس التأديبي في «CAF» أن ما وقع خلال النهائي يعد خرقا واضحا للوائح الانضباط ومبادئ اللعب النظيف والنزاهة التي تحكم المسابقات القارية.
وقرر «CAF» إيقاف مدرب منتخب السنغال بابي ثياو لمدة 5 مباريات رسمية تابعة للاتحاد الإفريقي، بسبب سلوك غير رياضي اعتبر مسيئا لسمعة اللعبة، إلى جانب تغريمه مبلغ 100 ألف دولار.
كما تم إيقاف اللاعب إيليمان شيخ باروي نداي لمباراتين رسميتين، وإيقاف إسماعيلا سار للمباراتين نفسيهما، بسبب تصرفات غير رياضية تجاه طاقم التحكيم.
وعلى مستوى الاتحاد السنغالي، فرضت غرامة مالية قدرها 300 ألف دولار بسبب السلوك غير اللائق لجماهيره، إضافة إلى غرامة أخرى بالقيمة نفسها نتيجة تصرفات لاعبي المنتخب والجهاز الفني.
كما تم تغريم الاتحاد مبلغ 15 ألف دولار بسبب حصول خمسة لاعبين على إنذارات خلال المباراة النهائية.
من جانبه، قرر المجلس التأديبي إيقاف أشرف حكيمي لمباراتين رسميتين، مع تعليق تنفيذ إحداهما لمدة عام، بسبب سلوك غير رياضي. كما تم إيقاف إسماعيل صيباري لثلاث مباريات رسمية، وتغريمه مبلغ 100 ألف دولار.
وفرض «CAF» غرامة مالية قدرها 200 ألف دولار على الاتحاد المغربي بسبب السلوك غير اللائق لجامعي الكرات، إضافة إلى غرامة أخرى بقيمة 100 ألف دولار نتيجة اقتحام لاعبي المنتخب والجهاز الفني لمنطقة تقنية الفيديو VAR وعرقلة عمل الحكم.
كما شملت العقوبات غرامة مالية قدرها 15 ألف دولار بسبب استخدام أشعة الليزر من قبل الجماهير المغربية خلال اللقاء.
وأكد الاتحاد الإفريقي أن هذه القرارات تهدف إلى حماية نزاهة المنافسات القارية وردع أي تجاوزات مستقبلية، مشددا على التزامه بتطبيق اللوائح دون استثناء.
Ten days after the unfortunate events that occurred during the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco between the Moroccan and Senegalese teams, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) issued a number of strict disciplinary sanctions against those responsible for the chaos. The disciplinary council of CAF confirmed that what happened during the final constitutes a clear violation of the disciplinary regulations and the principles of fair play and integrity that govern continental competitions.
CAF decided to suspend Senegal’s coach, Pape Thiaw, for 5 official matches under the Confederation of African Football, due to unsportsmanlike conduct deemed damaging to the reputation of the game, in addition to imposing a fine of $100,000.
Player Iliman Cheikh Bayo Ndaye was also suspended for two official matches, and Ismaïla Sarr was suspended for the same two matches due to unsportsmanlike behavior towards the officiating crew.
At the level of the Senegalese Football Federation, a fine of $300,000 was imposed due to the inappropriate behavior of its fans, along with another fine of the same amount resulting from the actions of the players and coaching staff.
The federation was also fined $15,000 for five players receiving yellow cards during the final match.
For his part, the disciplinary council decided to suspend Achraf Hakimi for two official matches, with the execution of one of them suspended for a year, due to unsportsmanlike conduct. Ismaïl Sybari was suspended for three official matches and fined $100,000.
CAF imposed a fine of $200,000 on the Moroccan federation due to the inappropriate behavior of the ball boys, in addition to another fine of $100,000 for the intrusion of players and coaching staff into the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) area, obstructing the referee’s work.
The sanctions also included a fine of $15,000 for the use of laser beams by Moroccan fans during the match.
CAF confirmed that these decisions aim to protect the integrity of continental competitions and deter any future violations, emphasizing its commitment to applying the regulations without exception.
