تلقى الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (الفيفا)، أمس، أكثر من 500 مليون طلب للحصول على تذاكر مباريات كأس العالم 2026 خلال فترة تقديم الطلبات التي استمرت 33 يوماً وانتهت يوم 13 يناير الجاري.
وأوضح «الفيفا» في بيان، أن البطولة التي ستستضيفها الولايات المتحدة والمكسيك وكندا بمشاركة 48 فريقاً لأول مرة، اجتذبت طلبات من المشجعين في جميع الدول والمناطق الأعضاء في الاتحاد الدولي للعبة والبالغ عددها 211 دولة، مشيراً إلى أنه تم التحقق من صحة كل طلب من خلال بيانات بطاقة ائتمان متفردة، إذ قدم المشجعون ما معدله 15 مليون طلب يومياً للحصول على تذاكر.
وأضاف، أنه إلى جانب الدول الثلاث المضيفة، جاء العدد الأكبر من الطلبات من ألمانيا وإنجلترا والبرازيل وإسبانيا والبرتغال والأرجنتين وكولومبيا، في حين كانت المباراة الأكثر ترقباً هي مباراة دور المجموعات بين كولومبيا والبرتغال في ميامي في 27 يونيو المقبل.
وأبان أنه سيتم إخطار المشجعين بنتائج طلباتهم عبر البريد الإلكتروني في موعد لا يتجاوز الـ5 من شهر فبراير المقبل، وأنه في حال تجاوز الطلب العرض، سيتم تخصيص التذاكر من خلال عملية اختيار عشوائية.
وسيحظى المتقدمون غير الناجحين بفرصة أخرى لشراء التذاكر قبل موعد البطولة بوقت قصير خلال مرحلة بيع في اللحظات الأخيرة، وذلك على أساس أسبقية الحضور.
ويدير «الفيفا» سوقاً رسميةً لإعادة بيع وتبادل التذاكر لحاملي التذاكر المؤهلين؛ تهدف لحماية المشجعين وتخضع للوائح الاتحادية والمحلية.
The International Football Federation (FIFA) received more than 500 million requests for tickets to the 2026 World Cup matches yesterday during the application period that lasted 33 days and ended on January 13.
FIFA explained in a statement that the tournament, which will be hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada with the participation of 48 teams for the first time, attracted requests from fans in all 211 member countries and regions of the international federation, noting that each request was verified through unique credit card data, as fans submitted an average of 15 million requests daily for tickets.
It added that, in addition to the three host countries, the largest number of requests came from Germany, England, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, and Colombia, while the most anticipated match is the group stage match between Colombia and Portugal in Miami on June 27.
It clarified that fans will be notified of the results of their requests via email no later than February 5, and that if demand exceeds supply, tickets will be allocated through a random selection process.
Unsuccessful applicants will have another opportunity to purchase tickets shortly before the tournament during a last-minute sales phase, on a first-come, first-served basis.
FIFA manages an official ticket resale and exchange market for eligible ticket holders, aimed at protecting fans and subject to federal and local regulations.
